Grants Pass School District is committed to helping all students achieve
grade level standards and expectations. Through responsible administration of standardized assessments, the district provides educators with measurable data of student performance on both behavioral and academic expectations. This data can be used to evaluate student abilities, inform classroom instruction, and improve educational programs.

Business and Finance
The Business Services department is responsible for the district's fiscal operations of accounting, budget and audit. In addition, they provide analysis and support to schools, departments , district administration and the School Board in financial matters.

Curriculum

In Grants Pass School District, our commitment is helping each child to reach their full potential. The focus of the Curriculum and Instruction Department is to ensure that standards are aligned and teachers have the resources they need to help each individual child achieve. Our teachers are each talented and knowledgeable. Provi ding time for teachers to dialogue about teaching and learning as well as provide professional development opportunities is another commitment of our department.

Food and Nutrition
The Food Service department strives to provide every child access to healthy, fresh foods. By working closely with the schools, staff and district departments, we are able to provide local produce, healthy meal choices and nutritional education to all students and families in the district. The Food Service department promotes healthy eating habits necessary for optimal physical and academic growth. |

Information Services
The Information Services Department (IS) assures that technology is available to students, teachers and other staff to promote and monitor educational growth. The Infrastructure includes a network backbone and keeping up-to-date and operational hardware from servers, computers, and multimedia devices used in the classroom. Software and hardware is in place to protect this infrastructure against viruses and other threats. Thus providing a safe environment for learning. Additionally, IS supports a wide range of applications. From software in the kindergarten classroom to the Administration applications. IS assists each department in assuring that applications are integrated and efficient to make available assessment and accountability to further student education. . |

Maintenance and Warehouse
Grants Pass School District Maintenance/Warehouse departments are responsible for district wide grounds maintenance as well as safe and clean site care. Our Warehouse supplies school sites with Food Service items along with a large supply of education materials and housekeeping supplies.

Office of the Superintendent
The Superintendent serves as chief administrative officer of the Board providing overall coordination and leadership to district personnel and programs for the community's public schools, in accordance with the Board's policy, statements of philosophy, goals and objectives. The three major areas of responsibility for the superintendent are budget, curriculum and communication with the Board.

Personnel
The Grants Pass School district's Personnel director and support staff are dedicated to providing excellent service to staff and patrons from recruitment through retirement. This department is primarily responsible for recruiting, licensure, leave administration, substitute procurement and bargaining
.

Print Shop
The Print Shop services all of the districts department and staff printing needs. They quick and professional service on forms and printed educational materials and work closely with the district staff members to create and design materials to be used at events, in classrooms and for district trainings.

Special Services
Grants Pass School District's Special Services department is dedicated to providing district-wide management of programs that provide direct services to students with specialized needs. These programs include:

· Safe and Drug Free Schools
· 504 Plans
This department actively partners with all district departments, staff and education programs to provide quality educational services and support to all students and families.

Transportation Services
The Grants Pass School District Transportation Department provides safe, reliable transportation for students. Transportation is provided for students K-12 who meet the districts eligibility requirements based on program involvement and/or residential location. This department also provided transport for athletic events, activity trips, and for students in specialty programs. |
