I am pleased to announce that we have some new coaches for the upcoming 2013 Track and Field Season here at Grants Pass. Fresh off of his throwing career for the University of Oregon, Josh Heidegger will take over the throwing events. He will be joined by Derek Cox who brings in years of Training experience and also coaches the Varsity Offensive Line. Not to be outdone by her newlywed husband, Cammy Heidegger will coach the Long and Triple Jump for us. Cammy is the head Volleyball Coach at GPHS and also runs the Girls Advanced Strength Training Class for our student-athletes. Moving over from Jumps to Hurdles and High Jump will be Jordan Werner. Jordan is a GP alum and ran the hurdles at the collegiate level at Western Oregon University. Kyle Swanson was just recently hired as our Pole Vault Coach. Kyle pole vaulted for McNary HS and brings a great background and passion to that event for us. Bobbi St. Clair continues her guidance with our Distance Program. I'm going to continue coaching the Sprints and Boy's and Girl's Relays.
