Are you wanting to be involved too?  Simply plug into our Facebook: GPHS Troupe 2354 for information about a multitude of upcoming events, or come to our drama club meetings every 2nd and 4th late start Wednesday @ 8:03 in my room.  There you will meet the Thespian 2012-13 officers: President: Nicole Hoefflinger, Vice Pres., Shaelyn Garland, Secretary, Jennifer Lynde, Treasurer, Juan Guerrero and Court Jester, Rebecca Gray.  They are among a steady group of great young theatre folk that will be glad to help you get started in our theatre program.

Our spring musical, West Side Story, which closed to a sold out house on Saturday, March 16 was a huge success.  A special thanks to all of the amazing people that helped make it so.  I am in your debt.

Spring is in the air and there are plenty of opportunities to take in theatre:  Taming of the Shrew at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Wednesday, April 17.  Tickets are just $17 (a $58. value); pay the bookkeeper asap to secure your spot.  Senior, and Thespian Society VP Shaelyn Garland is directing a couple of one-act plays that will play for three days: April 24, 25 & May 2 at the PAC.  Adult tickets are $5., Students $3. at the door. Play it Again Sam at Barnstormers Wednesday, May 1 @ 8PM.  FREE and for students only that night, the play has Adult Themes.

If you have any questions or concerns, please be in touch.  Parents, there are ways for you to be involved as well; feel free to send me an email.  Blessings to all, Mrs. S.
