Grades are based on a percentage of the total number of points possible for a given assignment or test.
90% - 100% = A
80% - 89% = B
70% - 79% = C
60% - 69% = D
59% or less = F
Always keep in mind that late assignments will not be accepted. Be sure that all assignments are completed and turned in on time.
Notebook Requirements
Notebooks will include the following and will weigh heavily on your overall grade (what you do is the most important factor of your education and consequently your grade)!
1. Separate spiral notebook for notes, terms and questions from text reading (60% of your grade +/-)
2. Three ring binder for class procedures, grading system, course outline, syllabus, daily class discussion/lecture notes, film notes or other materials on all topics
