Learn more about saving for college Oct. 19!
Does thinking about paying for your child’s higher education freak you out? Come to the College Funding 101 night and let experts put your mind at ease.
As part of the Be College Ready program, the Oregon College Savings Plan, in partnership with the Grants Pass School District, will be putting on an informational presentation about the benefits of saving for a higher education followed by a presentation about financial aid.
The program will take place at Riverside Elementary School, 1200 SE Harvey Drive, on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The first half of the 90-minute presentation will focus on how saving for college early is cheaper in the long run than taking out loans and will provide details on how the Oregon College Savings Plan works. The second half of the program will provide insights on how to navigate the financial aid system and explain how the FAFSA form works. Parents will have the ability to ask questions during both halves of the program.
It is never too early to save, nor too late. We encourage high school, middle school and elementary school parents to attend the College Funding 101 Night for Grants Pass families.
See you October 19th at Riverside Elementary!
