• Personal Training class is a combination of fitness and nutrition.

    During the fitness portion of this course, students will learn about

    • various forms of fitness
    • intensity of exercise
    • the benefits of a consistent exercise routine
    • and how to develop and follow their own individual fitness plan.  

    The nutrition portion of this course takes place in a computer lab.  Students will learn about

    • the food groups
    • nutrients
    • food labels
    • and analyze their own diet.  

     

    DISTANCE LEARNING ADDITIONS:

    Video Chat Sessions for our class will be offered Mondays at 10:45, during the GPHS "Suggested Schedule" for our class.   These sessions are not required, but are a good time to check in, ask questions, and to video chat with other students in our class.

    The calendar below is an outline of our Distance Learning expectations, and might be revised as we go throughout this course.
