About Grants Pass
Grants Pass residents live in one of the most beautiful regions in the country. Located on the legendary Rogue River, Grants Pass has panoramic views of stately mountains and ancient forests.
Outdoor activities abound along the legendary Rogue River, including white water rafting, fishing, and hiking. Golf enthusiasts only have to go a short distance to step on any of the seven nearby challenging golf courses.
Shoppers are sure to find treasures in the 400 shops, including many antique shops, plenty of eateries, and an abundance of apparel shops.
Beyond all of these attributes, our schools stand at the heart of the community life in Grants Pass. Academic, artistic, athletic and musical achievements of young people create a spirit of involvement that extends to young and old alike.
We encourage you to get involved with our schools and the future of our community. Thank you for your interest in the Grants Pass community.
Throughout the years, the citizens from the Grants Pass community have shown great support for our young people. Their support is evident in the many community organizations and local foundations that provide us funding, time and energy.
Such community support is evidenced in the three facility improvement projects that cost approximately $950,000. To date, the GPHS Booster Club has raised over $785,000 for these projects with generous donations from over 100 individuals and local businesses. Additionally, the Grants Pass Rotary Clubs Rogue Duck Derby and Nike donated $100,000 and $50,000 respectively to the resurfacing of the GPHS track and drainage system improvements.
