Degrees and Certifications:
I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. I graduated from Madison East High School in 2002, and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Univeristy of Pittsburgh with a double major in History and Political Science and a minor in Sociology. After graduating from college, I moved around a bit before spending three years as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Madison, WI. I reached a point where I wanted to do something more impactful with my time and energy, so I went on an adventure and became an English language teacher in Daegu, South Korea. I spent a year at Keiseong Middle School before returning to the U.S. and earning my tecaher's certification at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. From 2013 to 2018, I taught ESL at Greenfield Middle School in Milwaukee, WI.
In the summer of 2017, I had a life changing experience that brought me to Oregon. The 2018-2019 school year will be my first as a teacher in Grants Pass.
In my free time I love to play basketball, run, camp, go on long hikes, cook spicy food, travel, read, and drink tons of coffee.
