Sort Order: (3)AP Statistics Statistics is a powerful subject, and it is one of my passions. Bringing my passion for the subject together with my desire to teach allows you to earn up to 8 college credits for Mth 243 and Mth 244 through SOU. My goal is for you to use Statistics to make informed decisions using data. To use solid statistical thinking which include a few key elements:
1) Anecdotal claims can be refuted with statistical analysis.
2) Poorly collected data are not useful.
3) Watch out for lurking variables in a study.
4) Results in statistics are not certain.
5) Correlation does not imply causation.
