Mrs. Krista DeBolt

I have lived my whole life in Grants Pass where I really enjoy the smaller community and family feel of the town.  I starting playing the violin at age 10 at one of the local elementary schools and continued in the strings program throughout high school.  I continued my studies at Oregon State University and finished my degrees in Music and Interdisciplinary Studies at Southern Oregon University with a Master’s Degree in Classroom Curriculum Development.  I started playing with the Rogue Valley Symphony in 1990 while attending SOU and still enjoy making music each year with the symphony. My husband, Bryan and I have 3 beautiful daughters: Rashelle plays cello and is attending the University of Nevada studying Cello Performance and Mathematics; Kailie plays viola and is attending the University of Oregon studying Viola Performance and Fine Art; and twin sister Kendra plays violin studying Music with a minor in business and psychology at Washington State University.

I want to make sure my students have the materials and experiences they need to succeed, so I just created a request for my classroom at

Orchestra Bows - Musical Magic in Motion.

If you chip in to help my students, you'll get awesome photos and our heartfelt thanks.

    Thanks so much,

P.S. If you know anyone who may want to help my classroom, please pass this along!

    Hello Orchestra families,

Jack in the Box restaurant is supporting school programs and students by donating 10% of all proceeds each month.  All you have to do is tell the cashier that you are with GP Orchestra and they will write it on their receipt and then cut a check for us each month.  Easy way to support orchestra - spread the word.
