About Me

I grew up in the San Gabriel Valley area which is located in California. All throughout middle and high school I participated in various school sports. I also played sports in the city leagues as well. I think I had too much energy and my parents were trying to exhaust me with all the participation in sports.

Before entering the field of education I served in the militiary, worked for a healthcare company and FedEx. I received my undergraduate degree from Texas State University. I earned my graduate degree at Southern Oregon University. I have had the opportunity to work in special education at the middle school and high school levels since 1999 in Austin, TX and now in Grants Pass, OR.
