Miss O.K.

Degrees and Certifications:

Miss O.K.

Hello South Families!  I am excited to return to South for my 5th year teaching and am thrilled to be able to share my love of acting and science with others. I love the mountains and forests of Southern Oregon and spend most of my free time hiking with my family and swimming in rivers.  I love to eat pastries, play soccer and frolick with my backyard chickens.

The best way to contact me is via email at bosbornekoch@grantspass.k12.or.us

Looking forward to a great year!

Proficiency grades are based on students ability show their knowledge and skills in the subject area.  In both of my classes students will have multiple opportunities to show proficiency in a specific skill or content area.  Letter grades are awarded according to the following breakdown:

20% of the grade is based on class participation and daily assignments (PRACTICE)

80% of the grade is based on projects, tests and presentations that show proficiency of knowledge and skills (ASSESSMENT)

The final grade is based on the number of points awarded throughout the semester.  There are no "D"s, letter grades are awarded A,B,C,F with a "C" meaning proficient and an "A" meaning mastery.

Late work will be deducted 10% unless otherwise agreed on by the student and teacher.
