Grants Pass High School Athletics 2020-21

As we look forward to the fall athletic seasons, there is a lot of uncertainty. We are very hopeful that there will be competitions, although the schedules may be somewhat different than we are accustomed to. The competitive schedule and the spectator guidelines for our events are still up in the air and dependent upon several factors; guidelines from the State, ODE, the OSAA and the School District and also the progress of controlling Covid-19.

We are confident that our strong athletic tradition will continue, no matter the guidelines. Our coaches are working to help our athletes prepare and be ready for the start of fall season.

**Family ID is open for you to register your incoming 9-12 grade athletes for the 2020-21 Fall Season. This will need to be done prior to your student participating in any summer workout/conditioning and prior to participating in the Fall Season.**

I'm using Remind to send important updates and information for GPHS Athletics. Please use this link to join my class.

Summer Conditioning/Workout schedules are listed on each individual sports webpage. There you will find the coaches email to contact the coaches with any questions you may have.

The Athletic Office is closed starting July 1st-August 1st.

Schools and coaches are reminded that, per OSAA policy, participation in summer sports/activities may not be required.

The OSAA Executive Board will continue to meet on a regular basis throughout the summer in closed work sessions. Updates like this will be sent to all member schools following each work session. The Board remains committed to administering sports/activities this Fall, provided it can be done safely in accordance with guidance from our state educational and medical partners

Please note that the OSAA Executive Board did eliminate this year's Moratorium Week which had been set  July 26-August 1.
