Highland Elementary School is in the northmost corner of Grants Pass, sitting next door to North Middle School. We serve over 300 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our school is situated on approximately 10 acres and the building is approximately 43,000 square feet.

For a sixth year, every elementary student in Grants Pass School District 7 will participate in One District, One Book. The annual program creates a shared reading experience across the district.
Grants Pass School District’s School Board is considering the adoption of recommended curriculum for elementary English Language Arts.
Materials are available for public preview and input at the Grants Pass School District Office, 725 NE Dean Dr, through May 14, 2024.
Grants Pass School District 7 and Four Way Community Foundation are proud to announce the launch of a fundraising campaign to preserve the Grants Pass High School Performing Arts Center (PAC).
A 25th-anniversary celebration of the Performing Arts Center will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The celebration will be an evening of music, theater, and dance.
The Grants Pass Early Learning Program will kick off this fall with free interactive playgroups for four and 5-year-olds who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2024.

The Grants Pass School District 7 Board of Directors has approved a debt restructuring plan that aims to address safety and facility needs across the district.
The $12 million generated from the restructuring will be used to make necessary upgrades across the district, with a focus on improving the safety and functionality of school buildings.
