Student Investment Account (SIA) dollars have made it possible for Grants Pass School District 7 to dramatically reduce pay-to-play fees for middle and high school students for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years.

District 7 is investing more than a quarter of a million dollars over the next two years to reduce activities fees. By reducing fees, the hope is that it will encourage more participation in after-school sports and activities for secondary students.

“Studies show that participation in extracurricular activities, contributes to increased academic success,” Trisha Evens, Director of Secondary Education says. “We hope this funding will allow more students the opportunity to participate in the many activities offered in District 7.”

Athletic fees are $75 for high school students, and $35 for middle school students. Band fees are being reduced by $75. As in years past, the district will continue to cover athletic fees for students who participate in three or more sports.  Please contact your school’s office for information on scholarships available.
