Free school supplies for District 7 elementary students

Grants Pass School District 7 will offer free school supplies for all elementary students this fall, thus freeing up money for families to purchase other necessities.

Supplies will be delivered directly to teachers and distributed to students at the beginning of the school year. Supplies are grade-level specific to meet the needs of our learners. We encourage elementary students to bring a backpack to school and wait for direct contact from your school for any other personal items that might be needed. Please contact your school’s office if you need help securing a backpack for your student. School offices reopen in August.

“As a district, we are very happy to be able to provide this and eliminate one more barrier for our families,” Susan Zottola, Director of Elementary Education says.

District 7 is investing a total of $75,000 to purchase supplies for its 6 elementary schools which support a total of 2,000+ students. The district hopes to continue providing school supplies to all students as funding allows.
