Get ready for kindergarten!

Grants Pass School District 7 invites you to sign up for READY! for Kindergarten this spring. The program invites families of 4 and 5-year-olds who will be entering kindergarten in September of 2023.

READY! for Kindergarten partners teachers and families together to help children be ready for a happy and successful school experience. Research shows that 5-year-olds who are ready for school, start ahead and stay ahead year after year.

Through a series of two classes, families learn about 26 age-appropriate skills that a typical 5 year old needs to be familiar with by the time they start kindergarten. Families receive a different FREE kit for each class they attend containing age-appropriate learning materials for them to use with their child at home. Tools include floor puzzles, colorful wooden shapes, blocks, magnetic letters and numbers, and audio CDs.

Classes are FREE and dinner and childcare are provided. Classes will be held April 13, 2023 and April 20, 2023 from 5:15 PM-7:30 PM. Interpreters are also available.

Register for READY! for Kindergarten by Friday, April 7, 2023.
