Student Investment Account (SIA) dollars have made it possible for Grants Pass School District 7 to eliminate all class fees for high school students for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years.

District 7 is investing a total of $153,000 over the next two years to remove class fees for courses like Early Childhood Education, Metal Fabrication, Art, Manufacturing, Health Sciences and more. Removing fees will ensure that economic barriers do not limit opportunities for students.

“As a district, we are always looking at opportunities to increase participation and access for all students,” Trisha Evens, Director of Secondary Education says. “By removing class fees we are removing one more barrier for students and families.”
