Support for families in temporary or unstable living situations
A message from Brandy Stromme, the Maslow Project McKinney-Vento Advocate for District 7 schools
Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well in these unique times. My name is Brandy Stromme and I am the Maslow Project McKinney-Vento Advocate for District 7 schools here in Grants Pass. CLICK HERE TO WATCH A VIDEO INTRODUCTION FROM BRANDY.
Maslow Project is here to help students and families who are in temporary or unstable living situations. For example, if you have to move because you lose housing, then you or your students have the right to stay in the school you started at instead of switching schools every time you go from place to place! You could also get fee waivers for SAT’s, classes and activities! Basically, we can help you stay stable in school, AND also help with every day basic needs supplies like extra food, clothing, hygiene items, community resource navigation (like health insurance, housing programs, etc.) , and support with your goals!
Please reach out with any questions so we can see how we can help!
