Budget Committee Vacancies

The Grants Pass School District No. 7 Board of Education is inviting interested patrons to apply for two(2) vacant positions on the District's Budget Committee. The Budget Committee consists of the seven members of the Board of Education plus and equal number of qualified electors of the District. The Board will appoint the new Budget Committee members, filling the vacancies from the list of those who have applied.

To be eligible for an appointment, the candidate:

1) must live in the Grants Pass School District;
2) must not be an officer or employee of the School District;
3) must be qualified to vote in Josephine County within the School District boundaries. The members of the Budget Committee shall be appointed by the Board for a term of three years. It is the Board of Education's goal to have the District's geographical areas represented on the Budget Committee.

Interested patrons may fill out the attached application, or stop by the District Office to obtain an application form. The completed form must be received by the District Office no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, January 25, 2019. The appointments will be made during the regularly scheduled Board Meeting of February 12, 2019.
