Parenting Workshops

Join us for a free parenting workshop. During this workshop, you will learn evidence-based discipline strategies, practice new skills that will empower and encourage you, and help you build a sense of community with other parents and guardians. Dinner and childcare are provided.

  • Location: Early Learning Center inside Highland Elementary School, 1845 NW Highland Ave. 
  • Session Descriptions:
    • Session 1: Brain Science, Behavior is Communication, Iceberg & Basic Needs, Self-Regulation & Co-Regulation, Parenting Styles
    • Session 2: Praise vs. Encouragement, Empathy & Active Listening, Feelings, Connecting with your Child
    • Session 3: Asking vs. Telling, Solutions vs. Consequences, Family Meetings
